|
Thur July 23rd
|
9.30am-11.30am |
5-7yrs |

Out there, in the sky, beyond
the world that we find so secure is Space. Space is a dangerous place -
toxic to living things. Astronauts can only venture there in a special suit
as protection. In this session will will journey from the beginning of the
solar system to today - a journey of more than 5 billion years. And in the
process, we will discover something that Goldilocks discovered - that some
places are just too hot, and some places are just too cold..... and why
Earth got lucky and is just right! Presenter: Camilla Gordon. Venue:
Annandale public School, 25 Johnston St Annandale. |

KITCHEN
CHEMISTRY |
Thur July 23rd |
1pm-3pm |
5-7yrs |
$40 |
Chemistry is the science of matter.....that means it's about stuff an
what happens when you mix stuff! Of course this needs to be done with
supervision because sometimes this "stuff" could GROW, or maybe
SHRINK... or maybe go BANG !! We practise chemistry all the time, making
a cup of tea, cooking up a white sauce or making a milkshake. Some stuff
we can eat, and some stuff is POISON, so it's always best to explore chemistry
in a class like this.Presenter Camilla Gordon.Venue:
Annandale public School, 25 Johnston St Annandale.

drop' icons to form their code. Working in pairs or threes, children are
guided step by step on how to program their robot to perform precise movements
as well as how to operate environmental sensors such as light and sound.
